Q: Why should I hire Illusion Interiors for my next project?

A: Although the corporation is newly formed, our principal operator has been in the drywall business for almost 30 years and operating in the Edmonton area for more than 20 of them. We are licensed, bonded, insured, and carry WCB coverage. We have an extensive network of trade contacts, carefully vetted tradesmen, and reviews to help us back up every word of our commitments to you.

 

Q: How much does an estimate cost?

A: All estimates for private builders and homeowners are free. We do offer estimating services to competing drywall companies at a reasonable cost.

 

Q: I have a contact to supply my own materials. Do you offer labour only quotes?

A: Yes! Although it is important to note that many tapers are very specific about the products they prefer and may not be willing to work with something different. If you already have taping materials, we will do our best to match you with a tradesman that works with the materials you have.

 

Q: I’ve done my own insulation/drywall/taping and just want to hire you for drywall/taping/paint etc. Do you offer single-trade quotes?

A: Of course. We are happy to take on any part of your project to keep it moving toward completion. There are caveats, however; if you have done your own insulation, we do not offer any warranty on your building envelope. If you have done your own drywall, pricing cannot be provided without an on-site inspection, and the same goes for taping.

 

Q: What types of payments do you accept?

A: We currently accept cash, certified cheques, debit, e-transfer, and credit cards. Credit card purchases are subject to a 3% surcharge.

 

Q: Can I get a discount or save the GST by paying cash?

A: All projects are subject to GST as determined by federal law. Please speak to our office in person to discuss any payment arrangements or negotiate any discounts.

 

Q: Do you offer financing?

A: Unfortunately, we do not. All our contracts are structured on a deposit and progress payment basis. We carry a provincial pre-paid contractor’s license secured by a general surety bond for this reason.

 

Q: What insurances do you carry?

A: In addition to the surety bond mentioned above, we carry WCB coverage for on-site workers as well as general liability insurance.
